The word-around-the-campfire is that Thailand is not safe for westerners. If you're paying attention in the gore-community, it seems there are a lot of "suicides" among "recently penniless" or "dejected over the loss of a Thai female" westerners that involve defenestration. It doesn't bother me, either way. I regularly visit Hawai'i, so I've got a last-Aloha-trip planned to visit there and then visit Australia via Polynesian hops... ... and sober up via the UK with brown-food and brown-beer... ... and wake up in Finland, only to do it all over again with my favorite Finns.  |

If you die in Thailand, photos of your dead body will be posted online immediately. Sometimes with smiling Thai civilians and law (military?) enforcement guys. Good to know |
