Definitely happened at night and/or very early morning hours...hit by vehicle at high speed, thus the driver never saw the cyclist until they were literally face-to-face. Note, no helmet and no top with or without reflectors, and no shoes, unless they were knocked off or they were sandals = the cyclist was intoxicated! Toxicology report of said cyclist would be interesting, surely...
