Drunk Waitress Takes a Header
32 year old waitress at a local pub was drinking on her night off and decided she'd had too much to drive home. As cab-rides are an inevitable death sentence in Oaxaca, she opted to walk the four blocks back to her flat in the dead of night. Unfortunately, the tenebrous streets, Mexican concrete, inebriation, and a lack of sensible footwear mixed together to brew up a heady cocktail of death. She lost her footing about a block away from the tavern and took a face-first header into the pavement, cracking her skull and doing all manner of damage to the frontal lobe. She was discovered lying face-down about an hour later, still breathing but unconscious and unresponsive. She was pronounced dead after a short ride to the hospital. A rather ignoble way to die, to say the least.   ·  ·  ·  · |

I hear ya. Well, I never pissed myself on the sidewalk or lost my shoes, but I did once wake up in a cowboy hat on the roof of a house with my wrists tied together by jump-ropes.  And...in a ditch with three goats and a deaf girl from Iowa after a Pogues concert. Guess it could have been worse for all of us. |

fuck me,i had to look up tenebrous and ignoble,but im better now. i live in northern california,i was at a party with some friends,woke the next day in Reno,naked,bound and laying on a floor in front of about 20 women.......thank god i was only 27 years old at the time and was better lookin then now......they told me i had a lot of fun,but im not sure about those bruises on my ass and the backs of my thighs..... |

How about that for bad luck? It must have been her time to go. Most of the weekends in my 20's were spent tying to figure out how I got home, where were my shoes, who had my phone, what bar had my debit card, and who the hell were the people in my house. As much as I miss those days I'm glad they are over (sort of....)  |
