Drowning Suicide In His Own Water Tank

Happened last week, at the start of October, Brazil.

A man was found dead in his own water tank and had left a suicide note.

His 88yo father found him. He lived at home with his retired parents.

I bet its hard to drown yourself, unless you tie heavey objects to yourself and dive in but doesnt look like he did that as he is right near the top.

Could have got himself extremely drunk or drugged with something.

Crazy and suspicious if suicide

Re: Drowning Suicide In His Own Water Tank

Living with parents that old, I wouldn't think he was young himself. Maybe his life was just falling apart, forcing him to move back in with his parents, and he saw no way or reason to fix it at his age.

I tried to translate that note (I'm terrible at reading cursive and I don't understand Portuguese, so that wasn't easy). The 4s seem to reference his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and he says he'll miss them. If that's correct, I think he could have easily been in his 60s or even early 70s himself.

Re: Drowning Suicide In His Own Water Tank

Here's as much as I can get out of babelfish:
Niguém has been blaming nothing sô I himself blamed. much longing of my 4 children 4 grandchildren i 4 great-grandchildren i the whole family

I think he's saying no one is to blame for this but himself and that he will miss his family.

Very sad.

It is quite easy actually, overdose on several kinds of antidepressants, the seizures kick in rather quickly.

Re: Drowning Suicide In His Own Water Tank

OK, here's a translation, using good old GoogleTranslate:

"Artur Pereira de Andrade. No one has anything 50 I haphazardly. The culprado Munta miss my 4 children, 4 grandchildren & great-grandchildren 4 i Touda the family. Artur Pereira de Andrade.
Phone cida ....."

Using some common sense, a computer translator, and the fact that this guy may not be that literate, I believe that:

Artur Pereira de Andrade was 50 years old, had nothing to live for didn't do this randomly., and will miss his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Phone No: ********

Poor fella. I guess he needed to talk, but for some reason it all got too much.
