i see many comments in regard to this and while i do agree with seatbelt usuage in many, many cases... just thought i'd metion... i know two people personally who have died because they were wearing a seatbelt. one had her throat slided open by the seatbelt and one drowned when he couldn't unclick the seatbelt when his car went into the water. the rescuers of the latter had to cut him out of it as they could not unclick it.

but generally, i agree that seatbelts do save lives and wear mine every time.

Always carrying a knife will help with a stuck seatbelt issue. Wear it and be prepared to cut it, if need be.

I'm able to type this response because I was wearing a seatbelt when some ignorant fuck ran a red light and totaled my F150, (plus having an airbag)! Without them, I'd be dead!
