Is not the country. The people in power are the root of the problem. Police in the DR is one of the worst in the world. The level of education is minimal. When I vacation there, I fear the police the most. Rateros do not mess with the gringos. If you are a foreigner in the DR and trouble comes your way, Most of the time is due to a police or military fucccing U. The DR has so many beautiful beaches. The place is full of natural beauty. However, the locals are destroying it day by day.  |
