Yeah but its tentative. Its not a food by choice. Only the starving partake. It is meat most foul, and their smart enough to know its people so, its not an easy shift, and its not instincive either. Dogs, and their ancestors wolves, never ate humans. If you look at the photos you will see they are not exactly "Digging in" |

You're right; they also appear to have expressions on their faces indicating deep sadness, reluctance and regret. Or, this "tentativeness" is nothing more than the action of ripping off small, bite-sized pieces because, well, how else would they eat? Honestly, even in the face of overwhelming photographic evidence, the lengths some will go to insist that animals (and therefore their pets) possess human cultural taboos—! As for the notion that a dog would only eat human flesh when starving, I suggest reading my post earlier in this thread about a certain scientific paper: Dogs eating human heads even when dog food is available |
