Reminds me of the Greatful Dead video "Touch of Grey", where the dog runs off with Mickey Harts lower leg. I don't have the facility to bring it up, but you'd be surprised at the similarities.      |

Couldn't find any photo of the heroic dog, but found a photo of the leg from another angle and a photo of a dog whatsoever compulsively scratching his right ear just for the sake of having a new experience.

Where did this happen? There was a story from my home town just a few years ago that sounds eerily similar. Mans dog brings human leg bones home and the police go out and look but find nothing. The dog goes out the following day and brings more bones home. The next day dog owner follows dog and discovers his stash. Turns out it was some old dude that had wondered off years before and disappeared.
