This is a premature fetus...22-30 weeks. It never took a breath, therefore it was stillborn. Notice how small and flat the lung tissue is. This indicates that there was no inflation of the lungs at birth. The baby is also mummified OR is prepped for dissection, so it could have been donated for medical research. My gut says it was mummified before autopsy, probably from exposure to the elements or hidden away in some form by the mother.

just wondering.... on cases like that, are there any law that could get the mother temporarily detained on a correctional or home until the baby is born? does the baby have human rights already even when he/she is still in the womb? just my own ignorant question.
