My kids dad is an Oakland county deputy sheriff, I asked if he heard of this case, he said no but he’s seen worse stemming from Detroit and the metro Detroit area no one talks about, not even on the news, a lot involving children especially. He said it’s easier to not bring this shit home, and to put it in the back of your mind. I’m not surprised they don’t talk about it. This job makes people very jaded and most don’t even talk to therapist about this shit because they feel they’re re-traumatizing themselves.
