Discovery of a Body on the Road Costarica
A body was found Wednesday morning in a ditch off Highway 1, General Cañas Avenue, near the Castella Conservatory, between Heredia and Alajuela. The discovery occurred around 5:40 a.m., when drivers passing through the area spotted the body and alerted authorities. Agents from the Judicial Investigation Agency (OIJ) arrived at the scene and confirmed the victim was a young Honduran man with a head injury. The body was transferred to the court morgue, where an autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause and manner of death.
