18th July 2016, Kandal, Cambodia - A 20 year old man with disabilities drowned after the car he was travelling in plunged from a car ferry, into the river. He was accompanied in the vehicle by his sister, who managed to escape the car and be rescued. Four other passengers in the same car also survived as they had left the car, and were onboard the deck of the boat. The six victims were on a journey to meet siblings.
