Re: Died with His AK in the Hand
That's Popeye Barron from Logan Heights 30. The AF Cartel recruited him and some other Mexican Mafia members from San Diego for hit squads. The Mexican Mafia members were in charge of putting together hit squads that were composed of foot soldiers from different San Diego gangs. A few San Diego gangs have strong ties with the Mexican Mafia and the AF Cartel (or what's left of the AF Cartel). Popeye got hit by accidental crossfire (funny enough-in the eye!!) when a hit squad led by him and another Mexican Mafia member Bat Marquez (originally from the San Diego gang Del Sol) were attempting to assassinate a news paper reporter. Some have said that Popeye's death wasn't accidental, since Bat Marquez had a lot to gain with Popeye Barron out of the way |

Re: Died with His AK in the Hand
What he said. I watched a documentary years ago but forgot most of the facts because of the meds my doctor prescribed me have been taking a heavy toll on my cognitive functions and also have been causing anterograde amnesia |
