Diana Malos, 18, Found Hanged in Suceava, Romania, December 11, 2008
Diana-Andreea Malos, 18, was found hanged about five meters up a tree in woodland behind the Sf. Ioan cel Nou monastery in Suceava, Romania, on the morning of December 11, 2008. A passer-by discovered her at about 10:30 a.m. and called emergency services, which used an extension ladder to recover her body. Her hands were bound with rope, and a handbag containing a mobile phone, a nail and a hammer hung above her head. Prosecutors formally closed the case as a suicide in March 2009. They cited hundreds of scene and autopsy photographs, an examination of her clothing, injuries associated with climbing trees, diary entries, a farewell note and witness statements that she had previously threatened to hang herself. Investigators concluded that Malos had tied her own hands to prevent herself from grabbing the rope or tree. Her mother rejected the suicide finding and maintained that her daughter had been murdered.  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |

First time I seen a person climb so high to hang themself, obuiosly she was high class. Great post.  |

I would not have been able to take my life there without clearing some of that brush first. I hate a messy hanging location with a purple passion.  |

LOL I was just thinking the same thing. I mean she had ample time to change her mind on the way up, or was it that if the cord burst the fall would kill her.

i love the hanging pix long way up even if it was murder. hard to climb a tree with someone kicking and fighting.
