Devastated Man Wrongly Accused of Killing His Drunkard Wife
On the afternoon of 4th April 2018, 38 year old Khin Vanna was found dead. Khin's 40 year old husband, Ouk Chansy, was found intoxicated + embracing his deceased wife. He was arrested + as he cried, he said that he had not killed his wife. It was initally thought that her husband had killed her, but after an autopsy the next day, it was clear that she had died of disease. She died from 'chronic drinking' (liver disease?). Also, she had died 2 or 3 days prior to being discovered. Due to hot temperatures, the body had started deteriorating. Khin was bed-ridden + sick when she was alive. Neighbours said "his wife was a drunkard + she became sick because of it. She couldn’t even stand straight.” **I feel so sorry for the man. He was arrested, manhandled + accused of murdering his wife + he was just devastated that she'd died.**                   |
