Re: Despite Wearing His Index Helmet He Lost His Brains on the Asphalt
There are two bodies at the scene, or someone just pulled white pants on that dude from pic#3... One of them was ridden over, second one just hit something face first, and hard...

Re: Despite Wearing His Index Helmet He Lost His Brains on the Asphalt
There seemed to be no problem with lighting and visibility, someone just didn't pay enough attention in the traffic or on of the participants of the accident was drunk |

Re: Despite Wearing His Index Helmet He Lost His Brains on the Asphalt
Helmet types define their field of application, like bicycle-, motorcycle-, working(construction)- , rock-climbing- ,and other sports(US football, hockey goalkeepers...) and so on... Index is a brand name of the helmet in this case. |

Re: Despite Wearing His Index Helmet He Lost His Brains on the Asphalt
actually there's alot of them wearing helmets because they are getting stricter on that rule. but its a cat and mouse game over here mostly. and with the flooded chinese copies of everything, not too many can afford index helmets. it is one of the reliable brands so far. but majority still buys chinese imitation because those are usually 1/8 of the price of index brands and 1/10 or as low as 1/15 of the higher brands like arai, shoei, hjc or mt. they dont use it much anyway. they only wear it when approaching a check/choke point on the main roads and removes them as they passed the point. thats the cat and mouse helmet situation here. only the real bike enthusiasts makes it a habit of putting on the helmet before getting on the bikes. a habit i am adapting for myself.

Re: Despite Wearing His Index Helmet He Lost His Brains on the Asphalt
add the fact that our police here only apprehends helmet law violators when they are on the checkpoint that have a mission order to that effect. the mission order time frame, the police will not apprehend you even if you passed them or stopped by them wearing nothing but a ball cap as you drive a bike. most asian countries are like that so the habit of wearing helmets are never really encouraged.
