Look closely at pic 1 top right. The sign clearly warns drivers to be on the lookout for deer. I don't know where this accident occured, in some European countries, the driver of the Toyota would be fined for hitting the deer. Deer have rights too!

But sometimes hitting the deer is unavoidable. Either hit the deer or head on with another car? I'd chose the deer.

The accident occured in Hungary today (22.05.2009), so the deer is fresh enough. I am sure the driver won't be fined.
