Re: Decaying mouse under cabinet

I like how you're not supposed to be able to see them... Well this one almost got out a few more steps and he would have been free. While it is a shitty way to die who knows what would have happened if he lived.

But if I would have done it I would have used the love traps now that I know about them

Re: Decaying mouse under cabinet

I am not a fan of glue traps. The one time we had to kill a mouse (we tried to live catch it for months but it was too crafty), we went for the old school quick and efficient traps. Luckily, we haven't had any mice in our house...yet.

Re: Decaying mouse under cabinet

If mice continue to be a problem, might I recommend a product called Mice Cubes? They are LIVE traps... you just catch the mouse and take it elsewhere to release it. I used them to rid an entire apartment building of mice, once. Very effective, if you release them into an area where they will have plenty of food and aren't tempted to come back inside.
I used to buy those at wal mart now I can't find them anywhere, not even online. Nobody even knows what I'm talking about.

Re: Decaying mouse under cabinet

they had those glue traps where i used to work to catch rats and mice then they would call me to get rid of them. they didnt know i was taking them outside when they are still alive and putting oil on the trap that frees them about 5 mins later. run mousy run!
i do that too. works for any stuck critter really. i always put at food with them.

Re: Decaying mouse under cabinet

I used to work in a grocery store, this was 30 years ago, and there was a field behind it so we had a constant mouse problem. Management's solution was to buy poison and set it around which led to dead mousies being found in interesting places. One day the asst. manager found a dead mouse and was swinging it around by the tail just as a customer walked by.
