there is a dead mans bar that runs round the outside of the feed chute but you need a hand free to be able to hit it, the guy i saw got dragged in by both hands at the same time so he couldnt hit the bar, we had to snap it shut and then drag him out.

These men were killed in a LearJet accident, i believe. I've seen these somewhere else.

i've been on plenty of volunteer work details and shoved things into chippers. i either cut the wood long, or i stand back and throw it in. ya gotta be stupid to get that close. great pics! |
