Death in a Psychiatric Hospital
These photos were taken at Havana's psychiatric hospital, known as Mazorra, in early January of this year and taken out of the island by people who risked their lives to show the world what really is happening in Castro's Cuba. These are several of the more than 40 patients who died of hypothermia at the hospital, when temperatures near freezing hit the area where Mazorra is located. |

Re: Death in a Psychiatric Hospital
'Psychiatric hospital: also known as mental hospitals, are hospitals specialising in the treatment of serious mental disorders.' No where in it's definition does it say to 'care' for the mentally ill . I guess this is directly reflected by this lot. Poor gits. Mint post |

Re: Death in a Psychiatric Hospital
Jesus thats horrible, I work in a psychiatric hospital and its recently been announced that it has to close down due to it not being up to standards for people to stay in, if only they saw this, the hospital I work in is like a 7 star hotel compared to this. Awful Good post Kelly |
