1. On the afternoon of 1st August 2015 in Bang Phli (Thailand), 43 year old S.P. lost his life.

'S' had been drinking with friends when he decided to go down to the river. Intoxicated, he went under + never came back up. His friends tried to find him, but to no avail. His body was later recovered by volunteer rescuers.

2. On the afternoon of 21st April 2023 in Manaus (Brazil), V.M.d.A. was found dead.

'V' had been dragged by his arms to an alley, there he was killed with 5 shots to his head.

3. On the afternoon of 25th April 2023 in Tecpan de Galeana (Mexico), the body of a man was found near a tip.

4. On the morning of 20th March 2023 in Couva (Trinidad + Tobago), 37 year old N.M.M. was murdered.

'N' was travelling in the back seat of a car, on her way to work, when another car crashed head-on. The car had been travelling in the opposite lane when it swerved into the car 'N' was in.

The occupant of the car got out, walked over to 'N' + shot her several times through the window. As 'N' died on the back seat, the gunman drove off.

5. On 29th April 2023 in Acapulco (Mexico), 33 year old B.A.G. died.

'B' had been swimming in the sea. He drowned + his body was found washed up on the beach.

6. On 24th February 2018 in Pisal Banda (India), a man died in a road accident.

7. In the early hours of 29th April 2023 in Acapulco (Mexico), the body of a man was found. He had been shot dead.

8. On 8th September 2014 in Nai Han (Thailand), the body of a man was found in the water. It's believed that the man was Burmese.

9. On the evening of 26th June 2016 in Sihanoukville (Cambodia), 61 year old W.R.S. was found dead.

'W' had been staying at the guesthouse since the 19th. He was found dead on the floor by his bed. The Scotsman had died from a heart attack.

10. Drowned man's body recovered from a river in Sapiranga (Brazil).

As a Scot, case 9 somewhat saddens me. Especially since he looked emaciated. But as usual, great post Simone.

Quality mix again Swimming and being drunk don't mix though, as we learnt from case #1. Fortunately he was found quickly when he was still in an easily recognizable condition. And case #9 is haunting indeed. He looks like he was seriously ill. You almost find it difficult to believe it is the same person in his passport photo.
