Death Mix (Russia, Dominican Republic, Brazil)
1. On 23rd February 2021 in Volograd (Russia), 19 year old V.S. committed suicide. Some sources say she jumped from the bridge because of unrequited love, others say that she was off her face on drugs.     2. Dominican Republic, late February 2021.  3. On the night of 22nd February 2021 in the Novo Horizonte neighbourhood (Brazil), W.M.F.S. was murdered. The girl was walking down the street when she was shot dead. According the her grandfather, 'W's mother was the target, but because she couldn't be found, they killed the girl instead.   4. On 24th February 2019 in the Tancredo Neves neighbourhood (Brazil), human remains were found at a farm.     5. On the night of 18th February 2021 in St. Petersburg (Russia), a man died. The man had taken his dog out for a walk even though he was drunk. When they returned home, the man broke the door handle to their flat. After stumbling around, trying to get back inside, the man slipped + fell 9 storeys to the ground below. His dog came back down + stayed with the body.

Interesting mix, thank you Simone. A mute point perhaps, but I wonder about the Russian girl. If she did intentionally jump, I wonder if she thought she would go through the ice or just hit it and die. She probably didn't give a shit either way of course. |

Good mix this time for sure. Jumpers are always weird to me. One of the few forms of suicide in which you are truly, utterly, totally helpless -and conscious- for the last moments. Literally no way out (which I guess is the point) and nothing to do about it. |
