Death Mix (Dominican Republic, India, Myanmar, Poland)
1. On the afternoon of 3rd March 2023 in Cambita (Dominican Republic), 34 year old M.P. was murdered. 'M' + her husband, J.C.d.l.C., had separated but he would not accept the end of their marriage. He had been arrested several times for harassing her but always soon released. 'J', filled with anger + jealousy, attacked 'M' with a machete. She died in the chair she had been sitting in. 'J' then ingested poison + died outside in the street. Their 4 children were left orphaned.      2. On 24th April 2017 in Hussaini Alam (India), 55 year old D.A. was found dead.  3. On 24th June 2019 in Arkan (Myanmar), 23 year old N.M.T. was tortured to death by Burmese soldiers.  4. Poland     5. On the morning of 31st January 2015 in Kandal (Cambodia), 21 year old C.L. lost her life. The young lady died in a fire inside a guesthouse. She had been sleeping in the bed when the smoke consumed her. Her father is suing the owner, who suffered minor burns. 'C' was the youngest of 6 children. Her mother had died when she was only 3 years old + her father had been blinded in battle when he was shot in his eyes.

Striking collection  Cases #3 and #5 are so depressing. The girl's father almost brought tears to my eyes.And case #1 introduces yet another anti-hero  Have to say though, that the blood spatter under the chair looks like a painting. My artsy fartsy brain always likes to interpret things in the most fancy way possible  |
