Death Mix (Brazil, Russia, Dominican Republic, Cambodia)
1. On the night of 5th December 2020 in the Novo Horizonte neighbourhood (Brazil), 19 year old T.D.S.R. was murdered. Neighbours stated that they heard 'T' screaming, but as she + her boyfriend, 28 year old J.A.S.M., constantly argued, they didn't think anything of it. 'T's body was discovered the next morning; she had been stabbed to death. The murder weapon, a 30cm knife, was found nearby. On the night of the 7th, 'J' was arrested. He confessed to the murder, stating that jealousy was the motive + he felt 'a lot of anger + fury'. He went on to say that on the night of the murder, he bought champagne, chocolates + had decorated the house with red balloons. But they soon started arguing as 'J' had been drinking. The couple had been together for 2 years but split up just over a month ago. That night had been intended for the couple to patch things up, though, several days beforehand, 'T' had told her family that she wasn't sure that is what she wanted.     2. On 14th December 2020 in Murino (Russia), 37 year old A.C. was found dead. He had been shot in his head + stabbed numerous times.    3. On 15th November 2020 in Santiago (Dominican Republic), a young man was murdered. His lifeless body was tossed out of a car; he had been stabbed to death. The man's body lay in the road for several hours before it was recovered.      4. Cambodia, early October 2020, Covid deaths.          5. On the afternoon of 23rd November 2020 in Dutra (Brazil), 22 year old G.M. was killed. 'G', a courier, crashed his motorbike head-on into a lorry when he drove on the wrong side of the road. On impact, the young man + his motorbike were thrown into the air. 'G' died at the scene, whilst his motorbike landed on a car parked on the hard shoulder + they both caught fire.
