Death Mix (Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Cambodia)
1. On 16th September 2020 in São Caetano do Sul (Brazil), L.F.F.D.F. committed suicide. The young man jumped to his death from a viaduct. He had been suffering from mental issues + was a drug user. He left a final message on FB shortly before taking his own life. 2. Mexico, 18th September 2020 3. On the night of 11th September 2020 in Bashkiria (Russia), a man was killed in the road. There's 2 versions about what happened: Version 1: Two brothers were travelling down the road in a car. They started to argue with each other + one of them got out + started walking. The driver of the car decided to run his brother down, destroying his leg + killing him. Version 2: 35 year old driver didn't see the 20 year old pedestrian in the road as it was dark (+ so were his clothes) + drove into him. 4. On the afternoon of 9th September 2020 in Chhouk Romdol village (Cambodia), 55 year old P.S. was killed by lightning as he rode his motorbike. 5. On the morning of 18th September 2020 in the Casallas neighbourhood (Mexico), the body of a woman with bullet wounds to her head was found next to an abandoned house.

Re: Death Mix (Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Cambodia)
The "Motorbike-Lightning Death" makes no sense. The rubber tires isolate the bike from the road, so no conductivity, therefore no lightning. Likewise, if he put his foot down on the ground, but was wearing a normal rubber flip-flop, there should have been no conductivity. Wondering how this happened.

Re: Death Mix (Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Cambodia)
There's a property of materials called "dielectric strength", which is expressed in MV per meter. Electricity can travel through everything if the voltage is high enough. Rubber has an average dielectric strength of 20 million volts per meter, a shoe sole is 2,5 cm thick, and a lightling bolt can contain 0,5 to 1 billion volts. It makes perfect sense. |
