One source says it happened in Indonesia + had been there for 15 days in 30°C. Another source says that it happened in Thailand + had been there for 10 days in 36°C. 5. Article stated that this happened in Puerto Rico + that the man was shot with a machine gun. 6. Russia - 2 teenage friends were coming home from a dance club. They walked next to the train tracks + one of the girls ended up under the train. 7. On 22nd July 2019 in Russia, a 56 year old man found a hand grenade from World War II buried in his garden. The man was with his 14 year old son + after pulling out the pin, he yelled that it hadn't gone off. Then within seconds, it did!

Re: Death Mix (Brazil, Colombia, Russia)
Why the hell would someone pull the pin on a grenade then sit there holding it to see what happens? Especially one you found, in unknown condition, and know nothing about... Perhaps I'm biased for having grenade experience, but that still seems like classic Darwin award material.

My hand grenade policy is basically, "Go the other fucking way as quickly as possible immediately upon discovery." Shitting of pants is optional.

Who says that's what truly transpired? Because of a random "statement?!" The press would make a poor character witness, let alone random posters thereof! |

Re: Death Mix (Brazil, Colombia, Russia)
I suppose the info could be wrong, but it's definitely not unheard of. Reminds me of a confirmed case in Colorado where someone found a grenade from the previous owner while cleaning out the attic/garage. He pulled the pin and just kind of looked at it thinking it was a dummy/inert.
