Death of a Marine: The AP Photo of Joshua Bernard, Helmand 2009
Lance Corporal Joshua M. Bernard, 21, of New Portland, Maine, was mortally wounded by a rocket-propelled grenade in a Taliban ambush at Dahaneh, Helmand province, Afghanistan, on August 14, 2009, and died that day at a field hospital. Associated Press photographer Julie Jacobson, embedded with his patrol, photographed him as fellow Marines came to his aid. The AP distributed the picture on September 4, 2009, over the objections of Bernard's father and Defense Secretary Robert Gates, setting off a national argument about publishing images of dying soldiers. The photograph later took a World Press Photo award.  ·  · |

What's really sad is the fact that he died not knowing 9/11 was another false flag so he died all for nothing...sorry  "Cave dwellers defeated NORAD"  |
