1. In Palmares, Pernambuco, Brazil, an unidentified man was killed after having his neck slashed with a knife.







2. In Ouricuri, Pernambuco, Brazil, a 60-year-old woman, Aurionete d.L.d.S., was shot dead in a field near an airport.

Her husband, a retired Army sergeant, told police his wife had left the house at 5am to go for a walk. At 6am, the husband heard gunshots, but he didn't investigate - he claimed Aurionete had no enemies, and thus couldn't imagine she would be murdered.

Locals reported a man on a motorcycle travelling around the neighbourhood, looking for information on Aurionete. The husband had previously reported threats against him to the police.




3. In Saloá, Pernambuco, Brazil, the decomposing body of a man was found hanging from a tree.


4. In Fortaleza, Ceará, Brazil, a young man, Francisco G.M.d.L., was shot dead whilst riding his motorcycle. The shots also penetrated his motorcycle's fuel tank, resulting in an explosion which carbonized Francisco's body.






5. In Barra do Piraí, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, a 64-year-old retired municipal employee, Pedro P.d.S.B., was killed after being stoned multiple times in the head.

A 22-year-old man, who had a criminal history for drug trafficking, was arrested for the crime. The motive remains unknown.

7. In La Lima, Honduras, the drowned, decomposing body of 22-year-old Josué M.F.R. was recovered.




8. In Olancho, Honduras, the driver of a silver Toyota pick-up truck lost control of the vehicle, for unclear reasons. The vehicle overturned, flipping several times.

Three people were killed: Edwin C., of unknown age; 36-year-old farmer Miguel A.S.R.; and 17-year-old Alexandra M.S.A.





9. In Cofradía, Honduras, the decapitated body of 68-year-old Pablo G.G. was found. His heart had been ripped out.



10. In Madura, Indonesia, a 45-year-old woman, Eka F.D., and her adulterous lover, 36-year-old A.A., were murdered in a boarding house by the woman's legal husband, Abdul R.

E., who suffered wounds on her cheek, chin, back, and groin, died of her injuries in hospital. A. suffered a fractured skull and had a wide slash wound on his chest.





11. In June 2024, in Pathum Thani province, Thailand, a 19-year-old, Waranya S., was murdered by her boyfriend, 19-year-old Thanakorn A., who then attempted to kill himself with a sleeping pill overdose.

Her body was found in a canal, wrapped in a quilt - her throat had been slit, and her hands had been amputated. Upon arrest, he claimed he suffered from mental illness and had accidentally killed Waranya - shocked, he then attempted to dispose of the body.










12. In June 2017, in Kandy, Sri Lanka, a woman was decapitated after she suicidally threw herself under a train.







13. In February 2017, in Sihanoukville, Cambodia, a 47-year-old European man was found to have hanged himself.




14. In April 2017, in Zamboanga, Philippines, 23-year-old Maria C.F. was found dead at an abandoned school, several days after going missing. Her head bore signs of severe trauma. She was identified by the tattoo on her nape.

A few months later, a 31-year-old dance instructor, Roselinni A., was arrested for the murder. I couldn't find an update to the case.




15. In June 2024, in Caranavi, Bolivia, a farmer was attacked and fatally mauled by a puma.

Waranya, aka Ming or Nong Ming was discarded among trash and grass. A car garage owner witnessed a man on a motorcycle arriving at the site around 5 am.

The motorcyclist initially attempted to conceal the body with grass, then covered it with nearby garbage before riding away. The 49 year old garage owner, T. B, said the man returned shortly after.

He inquired about what he had dumped, to which the man cryptically replied, “I threw a loved thing here,” before leaving again. He managed to snap a photo of the man departing on his motorcycle around 5.40 am.

The garage owner's wife later noticed the scattered garbage and, upon closer inspection, saw what looked like a human foot. She immediately alerted the police.

A rescue team uncovered the body of a young woman, clad only in a skirt and a university belt, wrapped in a bedsheet among the trash.

The police reported finding traces of blood on the ground around the body, and forensic officers collected samples from the scene. Bloodstains were found dripping over a length of more than 150 meters from where the body was found on the road to the north.

Thanakorn's house is 6 to 7 kilometres away from where the body was found. They had been dating eachother for 3 years.

the accused was transferred to Krung Siam St. Carlos Hospital in Pathum Thani.

However, afterwards, there was a scene at the hospital on Thursday. This came about as the accused appeared unprepared to meet the police even though the doctor judged him fit for questioning.

At length, after nurses supplied him with his clothes, there was consternation as the 18-year-old killer pretended to be asleep.

At length, he was dragged out of the hospital by police officers and into a waiting service vehicle. After that, he was taken in for questioning at Pak Khlong Rangsit Police Station.

He was arrested and denied bail as revelations emerged that the accused murderer was previously charged with rape of a 14 year old girl in 2022.

The mother of that victim came forward with disturbing and sinister details. Her testimony suggests that the accused murderer was assisted in that rape by this week’s victim, his girlfriend, Ms Waranya.

She has told reporters that her daughter owed a debt of ฿500 to Ms Waranya, who had sold her an old smartphone.

Later, she received a call from this week’s murder victim suggesting that they meet. Her daughter was told there was a way to earn the ฿500.

The young girl went to a secluded car park where she was eventually met by Mr Thanakorn on a motorbike.

According to the girl’s mother, Ms Waranya was also present, watching this unfold. Indeed, she was to act as a witness in the prosecution rather than an accomplice.

At length, Mr Thanakorn allegedly raped the young girl in a nearby park. In turn, the victim reported the crime and the case is still before the courts.

Afterwards, details of the autopsy conducted by the Institute of Forensics were released.

The unfortunate young girl died after her windpipe was severed by a sharp object. In effect, she drowned in her own blood which overpowered the lungs.

It is thought that later the accused cut off her hands in some perverse attempt to conceal her identity.
