A teenager, Jennifer E., was beheaded with a machete by a farmer, Marlon Abdon Rosaot, in Bukidnon province, Philippines.

Marlon was addicted to shabu and marijuana, and tended to fly into rages when he was unable to afford to buy them. He had been implicated in several other atrocities, including the murder of a grade-school child last year.

On Tuesday afternoon the lifeless body of former police officer Wiliannys Lopez was located. It was in an advanced state of decomposition and this prevented the CICPC officials to determine at the moment whether it was a murder or not, were the experts of SENAMECF Yaracuy who they performed an autopsy and determined that she was strangled and suffocated.

The finding was near the road to the El Corozo sector, San Felipe municipality. She had been missing for five days.

There were several citizens who on Tuesday decided to check the weeds on the sides of the dirt road, bumping into the scene, because the woman's body was without pants or panties, while the top and blouse were above her breasts.

There is no official information yet regarding the crime motive, but an investigation process is already underway and apparently both her romantic partner and others close to her are being interviewed.

Lopez, employee of PNB Yaracuy, was missing since Thursday 22nd of this month. Apparently, that day he went to the house of a relative and when saying goodbye she said she would go to the Ciudadela Hugo Chavez township, San Felipe municipality, where she lived with her partner, but never arrived at the apartment.

Since then, the relatives didn't know more about her and began to look for her and it was until Tuesday that they received the news of the body's discovery.

A resident of the Santa Cruz sector of Las Mercedes said that since the weekend they had been smelling a rotten smell and believed it was a dead animal, but when she decided to check the weeds along with other neighbors they found the body.

Ecuador. On the afternoon of Monday another violent incident against a woman, July O, 20 years old, occured.

According to police reports, July was traveling in a vehicle with a companion when they noticed they were being followed by armed men.

In a desperate attempt to save themselves, the couple abandoned the car and fled on foot through the streets of the neighborhood.

However, the passenger managed to evade the attackers and escape alive, but the victim, July, could not outrun her assailants. She was caught by the gunmen, who shot her multiple times, most of the bullets hitting her in the head.

The sound of the explosions alerted the residents, who, upon leaving their homes, found the young woman's body lying on the road.

National Police officers arrived minutes later to cordon off the scene, while forensic experts collected ballistic evidence.
