I remember watching news reports of this at the time. We were told that some civilians were rounded up and put in a ditch and soldiers shot them. There was no mention of rape or torture. The pictures that were finally released were nothing like this. We live in a different era now where crimes like this cannot be covered up. And soldiers now are taught about the difference between legal and illegal orders.

Seriously, dude. American soldiers do not have a monopoly on brutality. Shit like this happens in every war, on every side, since FOREVER. But it is awfully fashionable to single out the U.S., isn't it? |

death is sad regardless of how callous some people appear to be about it, the majority of people are affected by the death of innocent children @ least to some degree. it doesn't bother me to see dead adults one bit, but the death of a baby gets me every time.  |
