Dead Woman Found in Bag
Achichilco, Mexico May 3rd, 2018 Josefa Mejorado Silva, 31, was identified by family on Friday after being discovered Thursday about twenty meters from the Tenango-Tepexi road. She had signs of torture and plastic straps tied to her feet,hands and neck. The likely cause of death being strangulation.  ·  ·  · |

Looks like the body has been partially submerged in water for a while. Has the bloated features of drowning victims who have been floaters for a while.  |

Well actually, bloat occurs regardless of submersion in water or not; the degree of this bloat is what can be a telltale sign of submersion. The degree of bloat on this corpse could be an indicator of a short submersion or of relatively longer time out in the open. There is livor on the woman’s back too, so that could definitely help the idea that she may have been moved from partial submersion.

She could be bloated from decomposition. The skin doesn't look macerated to me. My 2 cents.  |
