Having worked in a kennels used by police for holding pit bulls, this is one of the pictures (given to us by the police) we use to educate people on the dangers of pit bulls and the damage they can cause when pissed off. So yea it is a pit bull attack

It may not seem consistent with other breed attacks as the pitbull's teeth are different to other dogs as the teeth are intended to scissor what they bite and not grab, hold and shake like other dogs need to do to cause this damage
