Dead girl in rented apartment Being Stabbed in the throat
16 year old girl found dead yesterday between 7 and 9 PM. Her 40 year-old mother (from Myanmar) came to her daughter's home and found the front door locked as it normally wasn't. Upon further investigation she found her daughter dead on the floor with a knife stuck in her throat. The mother and neighbours told that her daughter often had arguments with her stepfather (25) from Burma. Neighbours heard arguing the night before and heard him leaving and locking the home around 2 PM. Police suspects the stepfather tried to rape her. She had a decent little apartment. Reading between the lines her stepfather was making passes, she moves out in hopes of it ending. But it just escalated.  |
