Re: Dead Girl Discoverd and Autopsied
It's called cyanosis - lack of Oxygen to the tissues causing the blue colour. It's most prevalent in the fingers, lips and nose. You don't have to be dead to be cyanose, as people with respiratory disease often are cyanosed. It's not a great sign and can occur in usually healthy people, say with a chest infection or during a seizure. |

Re: Dead Girl Discoverd and Autopsied
Because nothing is 'obvious' where a legal trial is concerned. A full autopsy is customary in most countries (and all States in the US) for ALL suspicious deaths. Unless the family argues against it, an autopsy will be conducted in any potential murder, suicide, or accident fatalities. Seriously...how the fuck do you expect 'well, she was OBVIOUSLY strangled' to hold up in court if/when they catch a suspect for the murder? His lawyer would have him freed in no time. ME's typically spend more time giving expert court testimony than they do conducting autopsies. Their findings are critical to obtain a clear and sustainable explanation for a cause of death. |
