it's about time somebody actually paid long-overdue homage to—literally—such beauty in the dirt.

I've long thought that the bare feet of a dead body are a singularly poignant image of Lost Innocence. A beautiful young woman, for sure, but even the baddest dude, lying dead in his bare feet, shows his essential human vulnerability.

I might be wrong. But these photos don't seem quite nature to me. They don't look like dead corpse: color of the skin, no obvious blood or wound or anything. Could be some staged photos or so called fake photos made by some foot fetishism group.
