Victim was a 25 year old woman who worked at a bar. One report said waitress; one said stripper. Whatever the case, it probably put her into contact with some men of questionable moral framework.

She went out with a man last night, apparently to this rural location. She was found this morning with signs of strangulation and lacerations to the throat. Police assume the perpetrator strangled her into unconsciousness and then used a knife to finish the job. Her shorts were around her ankles and there was a dirty condom lying near her body. There were signs of sex, but no sexual violence. Current theory is that the sex was likely consensual, but things went sour when matters turned to remuneration for services. Or insults about jimmy size. Or something.

Anyway, she's dead. Left a kid behind. Some of her friends were posting on one of the news forums where I got her photos. They were all shocked and horrified; said she was a responsible mother and not a drug user. But a couple agreed that she was depressed and had self-esteem issues and sometimes hooked up with the wrong men.
