Yup, that's a fair comparison there. Except Manson was way worse than Rolling. His songs, from simple structure, shit lyrics, to terrible delivery was unlistenable. That Beach Boys song they did of Manson's was garbage and worse it ultimately played a roll leading up to Sharon Tate's murder.
