I agree...I can see the brilliance in his work as it is not like any other..But its a bit bulky ..I guess I could use one of the sharks for a coffee table.. |

I'm quite fond of Hirst's art, conceptually and visually in particular. One of his earlier attempts at suspending a shark in formaldehyde failed pretty miserably, I'd hate to see the mess it made. Although not mentioned here, a couple of years ago he embedded a shitload of diamonds on a real human skull, it's worth over a million dollars. If I recall correctly it's called "For the Love of Money" But yeah, he's an interesting fellow. |
