Cyclist Splattered After Being Run Over by Truck
Nossa Senhora dos Remédios, Piauí state, Brazil A cyclist named O.P.V., aged 55, died after being run over by a truck on the PI-212 highway. According to the Military Police, the victim was run over by the wheels of the truck's trailer and died instantly. The cyclist lived in Bom Jesus, close to the point on the highway where he was run over. The PI-212 highway does not have a hard shoulder or cycle lane. The truck driver did not stop to provide assistance, and he has been arrested.  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
