wish i could hold a bike like that up and drive it. heaviest i ever driven was a 450 and my legs almost always buckles when i stop and it tilted a bit to the side. i like bikes more than cars considering the fuel costs here in the Philippines and the traffic conditions.

I don't know what happened specifically in this case. However, I am not surprised at all. There's an emerging social class in China, comprised of kids or teenagers born to those super-wealthy or high-profile families. Some of them spend millions on their gadgets, i.e. cars or motorbikes, and they have formed an ill culture of racing at 100-200 mph during midnights through empty streets of big cities, like Beijing.

I wasn't aware of that. I was in China in 2000 and the kids were amazingly well behaved. I didn't see a single drunk or stoned kid ever, the whole time I was there. 2 am, and people are just going out to eat and to see a movie. I guess things have changed a little. But this girl doesn't look like she is a smarmy bitch. She actually looks very sweet.
The thing that struck me about the pics (Other than she was very pretty) is:
A. BMW's don't seem to have much appeal to younger people. Most of the people I know that have BMW's are really into their bikes, read all the magazines and comparisons, and are REALLY up on the latest engineering. So I wondered if she was a real bike enthusiast, or just picked it by accident.
B. The other thing was her helmet. That is a TOP NOTCH helmet, and I don't see them much on kids with the crotch rockets (of which there are plenty in Tucson. They get killed regularly) Most of our locals hardly ever even wear a helmet.
So I figured she either knew a lot about bikes, or was fortunate enough to run into a salesman who set her up with really good gear.
C. Yeah, the pants and boots didn't turn out too well, but I drive in good clothes sometimes, so my situation would be similar.
Sorry it ended badly for her. I guess we will never know if it was her fault or not.
