She must have been pretty rich....that BMW costs more than any Harley. Also her helmet and gloves are top-notch. Wonder if it was her fault (inexperience) or if she was a dedicated biker that got killed by an idiot driver. Sad in any case........

I don't know what happened specifically in this case. However, I am not surprised at all. There's an emerging social class in China, comprised of kids or teenagers born to those super-wealthy or high-profile families. Some of them spend millions on their gadgets, i.e. cars or motorbikes, and they have formed an ill culture of racing at 100-200 mph during midnights through empty streets of big cities, like Beijing. No police officer dare to "interfere" them because of who their "fathers" are in China. Thus it is actually not uncommon for the street vendors or janitors to find these pieces of wrecks in the next early mornings. |
