Crushed by a Forklifter

This happened at the Panama Canal about 5 years ago.

Had these pictures but didn't remember where to find them until now.

Apparently this man didn't knew to maneuver the forklift and got what he looked for: A smashed head!

Re: Crushed by a Forklifter

Heavy duty, large, over sized fork truck. Massive load. Muddy, wet conditions. Poor squished dude didn't stand a chance. My guess is that the fork truck operator failed to use a seat belt, thus upon overturning, he landed outside the vehicle safety cage. He certainly will never ever make that mistake again.

Re: Crushed by a Forklifter

Never before while operating a backhoe or large forklifts did I once wear a seat belt. After watching what can go wrong here on in DR I always wear mine now....

Re: Crushed by a Forklifter

Very cool pictures of a very unlucky bloke.

The Panama Canal grounds look as well kept as a country club. Spiffy.
