The height of fucking ridiculousness here.

This 21 year old girl, who was in her second year of study at a college of Agricultural Engineering, decided to help her husband with his side job for some extra income.

Of course his side job was hijacking taxicabs and motorcycles with his old buddy 'The Bemba".

She wasn't comfortable carrying a gun, so they decided she could act as 'bait.' She would call the mototaxi (a motorcycle-taxi for hire common in Latin American countries) for a ride and then give him directions to a remote location, where her husband and The Bemba would be waiting with a gun. Hubby would then rob the driver and the three of them would steal the bike and flee.

Everything went according to plan for their first few times, but the last run went pear-shaped. The driver was suspicious, as he knew the directions were leading him to an area where this girl couldn't possibly want to be dropped off. So he approached with caution. When the husband came into view and threatened him with a loaded shotgun, he didn't give up the bike in panic as others had done. He decided to floor it instead.

The husband, who had approached from the front left side of the bike, discharged the shotgun, either in panic or with murderous intent. He didn't have a criminal record, so it is probable that he'd never actually killed someone before. Unfortunately for hubby, the driver was alert and at the height of his game. He ducked and pressed himself to the handlebars as the roomsweeper discharged its deadly payload.

Right into the 21 year old wife's face.

The husband fled, the driver got to town and called the cops, and the girl flopped face-down and died on the pavement with half her head blown off. Hubby was eventually apprehended and will do time for the attempted robbery, some previous robberies, and whatever charge they settle on for the dead girl. he swore it was an accident. Not that it mattered to her.

Autopsy determined that she was about 3 months pregnant when she died.

"The Bemba" remains at large.
