he could have practiced for weeks getting it just right. a good clean swipe with a sturdy machete can cleanly cut through a 2-ish inch sapling which is kind of like cutting through bone (vertebrae are separate from one another, so its not like cutting thru a femur), and a sharp blade gets veeeeery little resistance from flesh. a hearty swipe can make a really clean cleave as opposed to a sawing motion making many small ridges... but yeah, it is really clean, and very sad. then he ran off like a little bitch who couldn't face prison like other murderers.
