Re: Cousins in the Tub.
That's what I mean: I would think with all the heat, etc. after 20 days there would be nothing but soup left. To me, just from what I've observed on gore sites, I would say they've been in that tub, dead, for about a week, at most. Given all the heat... |

Re: Cousins in the Tub.
Really great pic. My theory is that they were both murdered possibly strangled and placed into the tub. There bodies rotted there for a long damn time. Those blisters tho.. juicyyy

Re: Cousins in the Tub.
from what i’ve read, it was ultimately determined to be carbon monoxide poisoning: On April 16, 1989 the bodies of two female cousins fifteen year old Gloria Fernández and twenty one year old Irma Beatriz Girón were discovered decomposing face to face in a bathtub at and apartment located in Argentina. The apartment belonged to Irma. Neighbors notified police after noticing a putrid smell coming from that unit. Police knocked down the door and made the terrible discovery. A team of forensic and medical experts determined, due to the degree of decomposition, that both females had been there for approximately two weeks. What's so startling about this conclusion is that both women were seen just 48 hours before being discovered deceased. According to the owner of the property her tenant, Irma, had knocked on her door to ask for the phone saying cousin was ill and they wanted to call an ambulance. Instead a physician came to the residence and Gloria was treated for a minor illness and prescribed pain killers. A toxicology report later revealed the young woman had taken two of those pills prior to her death. The physician, Adolfo Bresciani, said that he had not noticed anything unusual at the unit when he went to see the patient. Immediately a death investigation was underway and autopsies preformed. Those reports raised more questions that answers since the cause of death for both women was listed as unknown. Neither Irma or Gloria had injuries of any kind. They did not die from suffocation or by electric shock. They did not suffer from any disease. They had not even been drowned, drugged or raped. Perhaps the most perplexing issue was that there was no coherent explanation for the advanced state of decomposition of the corpses. Investigators worked tirelessly to determine why happen to these young woman and came up with a theory about a black mamba bite. The black mamba is a poisonous snake that can kill a human within minutes after being bitten and also accelerates the decomposition process. They discovered a veterinarian named San Martín who previously dated Irma and speculated he could have gained access to that particular snake although no evidence was ever recovered to support this theory. Eventually the the most prestigious coroner in Argentina, Dr. Osvaldo Raffo, was ordered to preform another autopsy and at last the mystery was solved. Osvaldo discovered both Irma and Gloria had died of carbon monoxide poisoning. This was clearly an error made by the first team of medical experts who preformed the first autopsy and toxicology tests. It was also revealed that the humidity in the bathroom was the cause of the rapid decomposition. The great mystery surrounding the deaths both women was revealed to be nothing more than an accident. |
