A Couple of Pictures Showing Some Fatal Car Accidents
The top picture of the little boy, maybe the thing that has finally gotten the message across to my 10 year old nephew that he must respect and fear the traffic on his busy street. Nothing else has worked. This is not an image that I wished for him to have in his brain, but felt it was necessary when he stepped out into traffic on his way to school without even looking. I was driving in front of his house on my way to work, hoping to get a glimpse of the kids on their way to school. I was driving 15 mph in a 45 mph zone, going slow to better my chances to see them. Even though I was actively looking for one of the kids, I did not see Bubby who was standing in front of a very tall PT Cruiser. If I had been doing the regular speed limit, I would have most definately hit him. I would not have been able to stop no matter what I would have done. I found out he was upset with his Mom over an "outfit" squabble that morning and was not thinking. So please, let’s watch out for the kids out there, especially before and after school, around schools, playgrounds, and in residential districts. No one wishes to be the cause of a picture like the one above being taken. This is a copy of the briefing that was with the pics  ·  ·  ·  ·  · |
