Couple Killed in a Head-On With a Logging Truck, SP-225, 2021
On the afternoon of October 24, 2021, Valdeci dos Santos and Maria Cristina Henrique dos Santos, both 55, died after their Fiat Palio struck head-on a Volvo truck pulling three eucalyptus-loaded trailers at kilometre 66 of the SP-225, between Pirassununga and Analandia in Sao Paulo state, Brazil. Their 20-year-old daughter was seriously injured but survived. Police noted indications that the truck had entered the oncoming lane, though no final cause was published. |

On 24th October 2021 in Analândia (Brazil), a family were involved in a fatal road accident. V.d.S. + M.C.H.d.S., both 55 years old, died on impact. Their 20 year old daughter, M.H.d.S. was taken to the hospital in a serious condition. The driver + passenger of the lorry were unharmed. 2 photos of the family, but taken several years ago:

Boy, that little car offered no protection or resistance to that truck. I've become pretty jaded from years on DR, but Jeezus Mary AND Joseph that dude got fucked up.

"Brutal"? That is like saying Jack the Ripper gave people paper cuts. This was Horrendous. I hope death was quick and they felt very little, if any pain.

Fuck, that was brutal, what a mess, those ''new'' aerodynamic, lightweight, modern cars don't protect you at all, they are like an eggshell.  RIP
