Sunday morning two armed men shot a couple, who were chatting outside on the street. 911 was called anonymously, but when police and paramedics arrived, both were dead.

Given the situation in which they were attacked, one should expect that at least one of them was local. There are not published any identities though. This could be because it is still held back by the police, but as they said on site that they hoped that relatives would identify and claim the corpses, it seems not to be the case. So either they are in fact foreigners in the area or the locals kept their mouth shut (play it safe - you don't want to be the next one on the sidewalk, so "sorry sir, I don't know them").

One source says that the woman is around 35 and the man a bit younger, 25-30 years old. It isn't an official estimate, so take for what it is - the guess of this source and nothing more.

This happened in the Acapulco area, so it is not difficult to find images - a couple of them were even clean. But most needed comprehensive editing, so it took a while to get them ready for post.
