Residents of a neighborhood in Lomas del Gallo were shocked last week when a large black pickup tore through the street at high speed, with two men in the back throwing a battered sofa off the truck bed.

When a group of locals approached to investigate (or perhaps duel for salvage rights) the discarded furniture, the made a horrific discovery. A sheet of cardboard across the base of the sofa was concealing the freshly suffocated bodies of a young couple.

The pair had plastic bags wrapped and taped tightly around their heads and their hands bound with cord. They were only recently deceased, within a matter of hours and the cause of death was presumed to be asphyxiation. Both the cause and time of death will be more precisely qualified after the autopsy.

Neither decedent was identified and both were estimated to be around 25 years old.

I don’t get it. You want to dispose the body in broad daylight in the middle of a residential street. Then you go through the trouble of stuffing the bodies into a sofa.
