Ecuador.

A young man and woman had just finished buying some groceries at a local butcher shop and were getting back into their car to leave when a motorcycle and a small automobile approached and riddled the car with bullets.

The male decedent was killed instantly with several shots while in the driver's seat. Witnesses said that the woman was halfway into the car when the shooting began, so she turned and screamed for help while trying to run for shelter in the shop. She made it all the way to the doorway, but witnesses at the scene (there were dozens, as the shopping area was crowded at the time) said that the motorcycle assailants drove up onto the sidewalk to chase her and shot her in the head right as she was clearing the doors.

Neither decedent has been publicly identified, so I can't get antemortems from social media, but it was announced that they were a couple in their 20's and were both from Venezuela.

Four young men were arrested a few hours later for the murder and multiple handguns were confiscated. No motive has yet been disclosed.

Finally managed to get her ID'd and found her social media. Took more work than it was probably worth.

Still no antemortem images on the guy dead in the car, but here's the girl dead in the doorway.
